 Day 1 Saturday CATANIA

Independent arrival at the hotel. Accommodation. Welcome cocktail, dinner and overnight at your hotel.

 Day 2 Sunday CATANIA – SIRACUSA – RAGUSA with Sicilian typical products tasting

After a buffet breakfast, depart to Syracuse and visit the archaeological area including the famous Latomie of the Paradise and the Dyionisios “Ear”. Continue to the island of Ortigia, historical centre of the city. Visit of the Cathedral and Arethuse fountain. Lunch on your own. Depart to Ragusa and visit of the enchanting historical centre “Ibla”, with its Baroque stunning palaces and churches. Enjoy a tasting of a typical products of the island in a nice bar in the main square by the Dome. Accommodation, dinner and overnight at your hotel.

 Day 3 Monday RAGUSA– CALTAGIRONE – PIAZZA ARMERINA – AGRIGENTO

After buffet breakfast, depart to Caltagirone famous centre of the Sicilian ceramics and pottery: visit of ceramics laboratory and opportunity of shopping. Continue to Piazza Armerina and visit the worldwide known Villa Romana del Casale thanks to its well preserved mosaics. Lunch in a local restaurant with a special menu chosen to give the opportunity to taste the local specialities. Depart to Agrigento and visit the Valley of the Temples including the Temple of Juno, Concord, Heracles, Zeus and Castor & Pollux. Accommodation, dinner and overnight at your hotel.

 Day 4 TuesdayAGRIGENTO – PALERMO - MONREALE

After buffet breakfast depart to Palermo. Accommodation at hotel. Time at leisure and lunch at your own. In the afternoon visit of Monreale: visit of the Cathedral, one of the most beautiful monuments of the world, and the Benedictine Cloister in Arab- norman style. Continue to visit the historical centre of Palermo, one of the largest of Europe, Including the Cathedral, the Palatine Chapel, the Royal Palace. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at your hotel.

 Day 5Wednesday PALERMO – SEGESTA- ERICE – TRAPANI – PALERMO

After buffet breakfast, depart to Segesta to admire the Temple and the Theatre surrounded by a suggestive landscape. Continue to the medieval village of Erice placed on the top of a hill overlooking the city of Trapani and the Egadi Islands: walk in its tiny and characteristic streets. Lunch on your own. Down to Trapani viewing the salt windmills still working. Return to Palermo. Dinner and overnight in your hotel.

 Day 6 Thursday PALERMO – CEFALU’ – PARCO DEI NEBRODI – TAORMINA

After buffet breakfast, depart for Cefalù, a former fishing village, now a charming coastal town. Enjoy a walk to the city centre and down main street to reach the Arab-Norman Cathedral and the medieval wash-house built in the rock. Drive to the Park of “Nebrodi”. Stop at the Miraglia Forest for lunch with a typical menu. Continue to Cesarò, Randazzo and visit the Etna park from an unusual point of view - the North facing side - surrounded by beautiful landscapes. Arrival in Taormina, dinner and overnight at your hotel.

Day 7 Friday TAORMINA– ETNA(Optinal)– TAORMINA

After breakfast, morning at leisure of for those who will be interested, possibility of an optional excursions to Mount Etna, the highest active volcano in Europe. Weather conditions permitting, across fascinating landscape we will reach a height of 1800 metres, where we will enjoy a fantastic panorama of the Ionic Sea. Lunch on your own. Afternoon in Taormina, the small medieval village called “the pearl of the Ionic Sea”. Enjoy time at leisure for shopping or walking through the tiny streets. Possibility to visit the Roman – Greek theatre on your own. In the evening be ready for a farewell dinner at your hotel. Overnight.

Day 8 Saturday TAORMINA– CATANIA – POZZALLO – MALTA

Morning at leisure. In the early afternoon, transfer from Taormina to Catania by private car. Transfer to Pozzallo port to board the hydrofoil to Malta, delightful Mediterranean island. Transfer to the hotel located in St Paul’s Bay. Accommodation, dinner and overnight.

Day 9 Sunday MALTA- “THE THREE CITIES”

Take in some of Malta’s historical highlights on a morning tour. Visit the imposing Church of St Lawrence and the Maritime Museum in Vittoriosa before continuing to Senglea for a panoramic view of the Grand Harbour and its fortifications. Spend the rest of the day relaxing or exploring at your leisure. Dinner and Overnight.

Day 10 Monday MALTA- “VALLETTA”

Enjoy a morning tour of Valletta – Malta’s heritage-rich capital. Highlights include the Upper Barracca Gardens and St John’s Cathedral, home to a splendid Caravaggio painting as well as an intriguing Museum. The excursion ends with a visit to the Grandmaster’s Palace. Spend the rest of the day exploring at your leisure. Dinner and Overnight.

Day 11 Tuesday MALTA- “MDINA”

Today’s sightseeing starts with a visit to the Mosta Church, renowned for its spectacular dome. Stop off at the Botanic Gardens of San Anton then proceed to Ta Qali Crafts Village to visit a glassblower, a jeweller and a potter. Weu will enjoy a typical lunch and after that we will visit St Paul’s Grotto in Rabat before enjoying a walking tour of the walled city of Mdina, admiring its Cathedral as well as awe-inspiring views from the city ramparts. Back to your hotel, dinner and overnight.

Day 12Wednesday MALTA

The tour ends after breakfast with a private transfer to the port or the airport.
